Our 2025 funding gap

Why your support matters now.

In 2025, our expenditure exceeded our income: we spent — for every CHF 100 raised, primarily on veterinary care, boarding and food. The shortfall was carried as an outstanding balance with our partner veterinary clinic, which stood at — at year end.

Through our fundraising campaigns, we have since reduced this balance by —, while continuing to settle each month's new treatments. To achieve this, we have had to significantly scale back our rescue operations, a decision that has been extremely difficult for our entire team.

Our teams on the ground, partner volunteers and fellow associations refer hundreds of animals to us: injured and sick animals in public shelters, where conditions have become so severe that survival is often less likely than on the street; animals in distress on the streets; and abandoned puppies. Declining these requests is the most difficult part of our work.

Your support allows us to clear our remaining veterinary balance and resume rescues at full capacity.
